Together, they turned to walk up the gravel path toward the house. At the patio door, they both paused.
“I should give you back the blanket.” Because she held Cupcake’s leash in one hand, she unwound the throw with her other hand, but it was too heavy and slipped out of her fingers.
Reflexively, Matt stepped forward, bent and caught the fabric before it dropped to the ground. As he straightened, the blanket skimmed up her bare legs. Goosebumps chased the soft tickle of the throw.
She was intensely aware of the breeze as it swirled between their two bodies. The heat coming off his body in the cool night air. The slight stubble highlighting the strength in his jaw, and the way his eyes were focusing on her face.
He could kiss me.
The thought came out of nowhere.
As if he read her thoughts, his expression changed to one of intent. She stared at his lips, wondering how they would feel on her own. At the same time, her brain yelled she needed to walk away as fast as possible. But her body refused to move. His hand wove through her hair to pull her closer. She leaned in to him and closed her eyes.

I read this book after reading the other "London" book about Simon. I liked this one also. It was interesting to see how the other sibling in the family felt about the father. Lucy was an amazing character and very likeable. It was well written and the characters work well with each other. The plot of the book kept moving and kept interesting. I really disliked the father in both of these books. I felt Simon did the right thing with leaving the company. Lucy was too good hearted and was looking for good in everything.....Product details

This book was a truly entertaining, uplifting love story. If you are looking for a great read, you'll find it here. This is the second book I've read of Emma's and enjoyed it more than the first, which I didn't think possible. Enjoy!
I really enjoyed the book. I am new to this author and was very pleased with her story. Well written and enjoyed the characters. I liked it so much I bought London Dreaming. I am hoping there will be another sequel regarding the character Blake since he is taking over the management of the bank. Highly recommend.
I had a hard time putting this book down. Just as good as London Dreaming, the first book in this series. I really hope she keeps writing more in this series, and more books in general. A new favorite author for me! Books are light, witty, not predictable, and realistic, yet still a fun love story. Can't wait for another book by Emma Carr!
London Dreaming's characters had more levels and realistic character flaws than the first novel. The plot was more interesting and a more believable with Lucy the good daughter falling for the bad boy out to destroy her father's company. Can't wait to finally read about Blake, the brother that was always "away."
Matt is an up an coming online banker. Lucy's family has owned their bank for over 400 years. These two are thrown together to organize a charity gala. At the same time, both are competing for the same client. London Dreaming The Rulefords is the sequel to London Falling. If you enjoyed London Falling, you will definitely enjoy London Dreaming.
I'm a softy for this kind of romance novel, better yet is set in London and I'm utterly obsessed with the island. Author needs to proofread this a little more, I'm not at all a picky reader and it really does get annoying sometimes, also if you're going to write about a country you're not from further up the research, avoid American terms. Other than that good read for a Saturday morning at the pool.
I came across this book when I was browsing for a kindle book, and I was hooked from the first page. The main two characters were wonderfully portrayed that the reader really felt that the attraction and the sparks. I loved the hero & the heroine of the book. The author didnt go into much details of the sex and the story was written so beautifully there was no need to go into details.
After much search I discovered that there are not many books by the author, but I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good romantic story.
